Questionnaire Feedback

Thank you to all the members who took time to complete the ‘Gala Questionnaire’ last month.

There was a lot of good feedback and comments that were discussed at the recent committee meeting. We understand that not all members may be interested in competing but as a club we feel it is right to offer the opportunity to compete at a suitable level if there is enough support and interest from members. In an attempt to increase the number of people taking part we have agreed to act upon a number of suggestions e.g. try to organise friendly competitions, increase the number of time trials, make people aware that they can approach coaches/committee members to try and arrange lifts to competitions, hand out paper competition slips direct to swimmers as well as emailing information to parents, offer more individualized advice as to which events swimmers should be entering at a gala etc.

We will continue to monitor and discuss competition entries over the coming months and see how things progress.
